like you can almost always tell bc Asou is a very talented writer and can convey tone in his story really well, but sometimes the stuff he throws in as a joke makes u go O_O

Does Meta Knight know what happend to Dedede in TDX?

TDX is what the cool kids call "Triple Deluxe," right? lol

In the Roleswap, they both know the facts about the events in Dream Land... Meta Knight knows what happened to Dedede during the whole Dreamstalk incident, and Dedede knows what happened to Meta during the Haltmann invasion, for example.

But I don't think they'd get outwardly vulnerable enough to really open up to each other about how all of that made them feel.

....Not at this early point in the story, anyway. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

To be fair, they don't really share their inner thoughts and feelings with anyone. Prideful King and Stubborn Knight... They've both got their own images to uphold, even to each other! They bottle up their feelings in hopes they go away on their own! That ain't healthy!!

But they do have the ability to let down their walls a little, somewhere deep deep inside them. It would just take something very stressful to get either of them to open up....

Summary:

It's the end of the world and Steve Harringtons life is changing in ways he didn't think possible. When Eddie: a stray of the apocalypse appears injured on his and Robin's farm, Steve doesn't know what he should think. What he does know is that Eddie Munson is the hugest asshole he's ever met. And for some odd reason Robin wants to keep him around. Fighting off zombies, almost being assassinated by roosters and essentially becoming a terrible farmer-- Steve learns that having a sexuality crisis is not the craziest thing that could be happening to him.

This is silly, but I was doing a gratitude journal last week, and you kept popping up in it because I think about keeping neo so much (I read the last chapter around 5 times since it came out. Haven’t gathered my thoughts enough to make a comment yet but clicks is genuinely concerned about spamton and he does not get it. They’re both so wrong about each other. it’s the communication breakdown babyyyy. but that’s neither here nor there). Point is I thought you may want to know you are making me feral and I’m loving all of it

that just absolutely warms my heart to hear!!! <3 <3!! i'm rlly happy my lil fic has left so much of an impact enough to make it into your gratitude journal (i have one of my own so this is even more stellar to me :'D!!!)

they're both so wrong about each other you're right like they just don't get the other's position due to their own feelings/experiences on what happened. obviously spamton got the rougher outcome of what happened but clicks shutting everything down emotionally/ignoring spamton's existence for all these years doesn't make a very happy addison. to top it all off, to see the outcome of his absence is even worse when he's the first who chose to leave spam to his own devices :')

@nebbychan You didn't have a prompt when I first asked -- and then Certain Life Events got in the way (my condolences again), and I thought it would be rather gauche to ask you for one. ^^; Fortunately I was able to come up with something on my own, based on your "MediEvil Resurrection II" fanfic -- here's Dan, Kiya, Professor Kift, and Winston having a moment to relax sometime after your latest chapter, discussing the rather painful thing that happened to poor Kiya during it... Enjoy!

“So...” Dan’s eye wandered down toward Kiya’s midsection, his brow bone perhaps not fully creasing in concern, but certainly doing a passable impression of such. “How’s the – um–”

“It’s all right,” Kiya assured him, laying a hand atop her blouse and feeling the scar beneath. “Madame JoJo sewed me up very well. It’s just still a little tender, is all.” She grimaced. “Given how that battle with Spring-Heeled Jack, or the Ripper, or whatever he was actually called, could have gone, I don’t think I can complain.”

“Yeah! We thought he’d managed to kill you all over again for a minute when he shoved those claws through your guts,” Winston said with a little shudder, before giving her a smirk. “Good thing getting someone through the stomach don’t count for much when they don’t have a stomach, eh?”

“Very good thing,” Kiya agreed with a little laugh. “I never thought I’d be grateful to be missing my internal organs, but – here we are.”

“Here we are,” Dan agreed, upper jaw flexing in a smile. “I’m just – so glad you’re okay. If he’d actually managed to somehow kill you, I – I don’t know what I would have done.”

“Kicked the blighter’s arse from here to Whitby?” Winston suggested.

“Well, yes, that for starters, but afterwards...” Dan drummed his fingers against his skull, clack-clack-clack (from his empty eye socket, Al protested, “hey, keep it down!”). “I wouldn’t have wanted to go on until I could think of a way to bring Kiya back.”

“Well, old Springy had a chalice on him – you could have just popped off to the Hall of Heroes to talk to your friends,” Winston pointed out. “Bet you one of them would have had an idea! They’re all the greatest heroes in the land, right? They’d have to!”

“In fact, given the way that Kiya would have, ah, passed on, perhaps she would have ended up there herself,” Professor Kift suggested.

“Now that would have been interesting,” Kiya said, smiling. “If rather disorienting...but at least we could have seen each other right away.” She brushed a stray lock of hair out of her face. “I would like to see the Hall one day, if I can – your descriptions of it and the other heroes have been fascinating.”

Dan’s expression suggested that, if he’d had a single scrap of skin left clinging to his skull, it would have been bright pink. “Well, I – I guess I’ve always been good at telling stories,” he said, rubbing his head shyly. “Little too good, in fact...and if anyone deserves a place in the Hall, it’s you,” he added, teeth spread wide in a grin. “I don’t think we would have gotten nearly so far without your help.”

“Your magic has been an invaluable asset during our quest,” Kift agreed, smiling.

“Yeah, it’s amazing!” Winston nodded.

Kiya was sure she’d somehow managed to turn a darker shade of blue. “I’m glad you all think so – I’m just happy Thoth answered my initial call! The very world is at stake, after all.”

“Mmmm – you know what I might have done?” Dan suddenly said, snapping his fingers. “If Jack had gotten you? Gotten the Professor here to build me a time machine so I could go back and rescue you!”

Kiya blinked. “Do what now?”

“A time machine?” Kift added, wide behind his glasses.

“Well, you’re the one who comes up with all the inventions! And given you’ve got a caravan that collapses into a flat sort of carrying case–”

“A briefcase,” Kift supplied.

“Right, one of those – I bet you could make a time machine! And it would be for a very good cause! And since it involves going through time, we could come back mere moments after we left!” Dan declared, clapping his hands together. “Foolproof plan!”

“Yes, well...” Kift rubbed his own mechanical hands together. “Much as I appreciate your faith in me in this regard, I think the nature of cause and effect and the space-time continuum is a bit too risky to play with. Otherwise, I’d have already built the machine and tried to stop Palethorn that way.” His eyes slid to Winston, bobbing beside him. “Tried to stop something else, too.”

“Aww, Professor – it’s okay,” Winston assured him, patting his shoulder. “I don’t mind being a ghost, honest.”

“And I’m all right, so I don’t think we need to worry about building a machine to throw us all back into the past just quite yet,” Kiya said with a little smile. “Let’s see how we do against the next thing Palethorn throws at us first.”

6. What’s the last line you wrote?

Shaking its head in what seems like disbelief before meeting his eyes again, almost like it wants to say something before it makes a noise like a growl, "oh, you're one of those seraphs, aren't you. A star-eater. No wonder you act like you've lost your mind."

(ignore that that's a couple sentences, the Thought is important)

12. Do you outline your fics?  If yes, how detailed are your outlines?  How far do you stray from them?

Oh yes! I outline my fics thoroughly. Though, I do allowed myself to deviate as much from the outline as I feel like when things go off the rails. Some snippets of planning from a couple fics & concepts:

My outlines are very... One for one. With some exceptions. I tend to basically write a very brief version of the fic and try to get the feelings and words right before I actually write it. This is... Also why it can and will take me a month to write a oneshot. I try to get things Right.

30. How much do you edit your fics?  Do you edit as you write or wait until you finish the first draft?

So! I edit them a bit? I edit while I work, but often I don't really touch anything I've already written unless it's something longer that might be taking a few months to get through. I think the fic I've edited the most is the prologue of Artificial Stars, which was originally a quickly written 2k oneshot into about 5k of actually decent fic.

Usually I don't edit to make something shorter/more concise, since I tend to only come up with more ways to bridge concepts when I go back to it. Also to be fair... There's usually no difference between first draft and final product. I cannot be asked to edit my fics after I write them, I just release them to the birds and pray for the best. (Unless I actually decide to show it to my beta reader in full instead of just sharing snippets as I... usually do.)

Conclusion: Rarely, those thangs are being given to the world as-is unless something is horrifically wrong with them
